Now hopefully we can have a full house for every game this season and not just during conference play.

That suprises me...I would have thought in the Grayer-Hornacek years we would have done that. I've never paid attention to attendance numbers but the building was pretty full night after night back then. I guess there were a lot of single game tix sold.

I don’t care… I want Jack Trice stadium to be the loudest in the Big 12 and I think that creates homefield advantage.... I want to stress to everyone…I want this place to be juiced up. They bought 36,000 season tickets so there is a passion there…don’t hide it… let it out. I want there to be a passion in the stadium."

Media - Iowa State men’s basketball fans have answered the call once again. Just like in football, where season ticket sales reached an all-time high in 2007, Cyclone men’s basketball season ticket sales have also set a record. For the first time in school history, more than 10,000 Cyclone fans have purchased season tickets for men’s hoops. As of today, a total of 10,070 season tickets have been purchased. | | |

For what ever reason, ISU didn't keep track of season ticket sales until the lat 80's if I remember right. So there is a possibility that during a few of the Orr years, more than 10K season tickets were sold.

How did they know how many tickets they had available to sell for each game if they didn't know how many season tickets had been sold???
Sound more like someone lost the file!
