the announcers said he was in during the first half ... but I cannot say I actually saw him - I was trying to figure out who everybody was

I visited with Vette's Grandpa about a week ago at the hardware store. He said Vette would not be redshirted.

He played in both halves, it was fairly early in the first half and it wasn't for long. I had been wondering about Clayton too, because I work with his aunt over in Nevada and even as of this morning she didn't know if he was going to redshirt. You used to be able to play a small number of games and still get the redshirt, is that still the case??

Ugh...read the thread. Redshirts in basketball is different than football. I don't know the exact requirements, but unlike football, a player can play some minutes in regular season games and still get a redshirt.
