I didn't see the Ohio St game last year but Oden scored 18 (shooting 8-15 from the field) and had 9 rebounds (2 off and 7 def). He also had 1 assist, 1 block, and no turnovers. All this when just coming off of being injured (his shooting hand). I guess I have never understood why C. Johnson's effort would be termed "great" in this game against Oden.
I don't doubt the CJ is a great kid and a hard worker. However, he really seems to be too small to play inside and too slow to play outside...a man without a position in my mind. Again, without seeing the WSS game (but looking at their roster) it would seem that they were tailor-made for him to have a good game...an undersized team with athleticism far below what we will see in the Big 12.
