No...but it is a measure of improvement, which this program desperately needs.

GC has actually gotten a team that was struggling and could have easily quit on their way to a 1-11 season, to improve and pull of a pair of late season wins. Under our former coach, when things started going bad, they would roll over and die.

Dan McCarney and Gene Chizik are two different coaches with two different responsibilities in my opinion.

Dan suceeded at the first phase of his job but couldn't at the second. Gene is taking over that second phase and showing signs of success.

That's all that I care about...

Let's just keep on bringing up the past, as opposed to looking at the future...and every time we hit a new high, or have a low let's bring up the past, and turn things into Chizik vs. McCarney, despite the both being for the Cyclones...because we certainly haven't had enough of these dumb debates on this message board.

FYI, according to cyclones.com, the last time ISU came back from a 21 point decifit to win was against Missouri in 1989 and these two games are tied for largest comeback in school history (Walden was the coach at the time).

Thanks! That is helpful. I know we haven't had comebacks like this very often, and this really confirms that. Knowing we aren't out of games hopefully will help keep the players and crowd into it.
