Class shown by CU
I just thought it was worth mentioning the class shown by the CU players at the end of the game. I thought this game end was far more controversial than last year's UNLV game and CU showed a lot of class. It had to be very frustrating for them, even though it seems all the correct calls were made. I guess this is just as much of a slam on UNLV as it is a praise to CU. Good game to them (if any of them read this) and boy am I excited for Iowa State football!!!!

UNLV was just killing time on the sidelines because it wasn't time for them to pick their mothers up from the Bunny Ranch yet.

Agreed, but I still don't like Colorado.

Re: Class shown by CU
I was listening to the Buff Talk call-in show on AM 850 here in Denver this afternoon, and sure there were some grumbles about how the end of the game transpired, but most of the fans calling in were more disgruntled with giving up a 21 point lead and Hawk going for it on 4th down to start the 2nd half on ISU property. So, there fans were pretty decent about the loss as well out here in buffalo country....
I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative. ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other." -
Re: Class shown by CU
A nice thing about college athletics I've noticed over the years is that almost without exception, the players who are the ones on the field competing almost always shake hands and congratulate each other and show good sportsmanship after the games. Fans, on the other hand, not quite as often.

Re: Class shown by CU
I'd like to know how committing a penalty with time running out and no time outs benefits them. For the cost of 5 yards, they got a chance to line up kick a field goal that they otherwise never have a chance to get off as the clock runs out.

Sportsmanship? Was I the only one that saw a few of the players take their helmets off and throw them? One guy nearly took out the ISU cheerleaders with his helmet. Threw it from like the 15 and it ended up right in front of the goal posts.

Colorado has a poor fan following... but they seemed somewhat classy

Re: Class shown by CU
We invited a few CU fans over that seemed lost to our tailgate, they said we were the nicest bunch they had met yet.

Re: Class shown by CU
My favorite part of the UNLV video is when the coach biffs it coming out of the jacobsen building. I had a buffs fan next to me who was just livid. He was gloating after the refs missed that pass interference call, that is until we scored 2 plays later.

Re: Class shown by CU
Noticed a couple Buffalo players talking smack with the front row ISU fans behind their bench. I hadn't noticed that before in other games.

Also, right after the game was ended by the ref's call, another player(white player with shaved head) took his helmet and threw it down and started going after the ref. Ya the bench might have been good sports, but the player on center field and the other ones in the endzone weren't very classy that is for sure.
