Another Article in Support of Lucca!

Here's a link to a German sports gear company that posted an article on their blog:

I'm trying not to be too cryptic here, but since I was the one who originated the petition, someone got my email from that, and I received this information from someone close to the Lucca situation there. This person has thus far asked to remain anonymous.

They are very pleased with our efforts to reinstate Lucca and may have further info for us if the ruling is not overturned.

This article would be another good thing to go on the website, too!

I forgot to mention that there is a good write-up about Lucca and a teammate below the blog entry, too.

It makes me want Lucca in a ISU uni even more!!

My German "contact" also said this:

"If they go against Lucca and Fabian again, I will share some more information on other european kids with pro-contracts and real pro teams with you."

By you, he means the NCAA. Interesting.

No, it sounds like he is waiting for the appeal ruling. He also didn't want his name brought up in any of this.

Here's how he closed his email:

"Thanks for you guys making noise over there. BIG TIME!!!"

Personally, I'd hope it doesn't come to this as I think the NCAA is ruining enough international collegiate players' careers at the moment, but I guess if it is more of a legitimate indiscretion than Lucca and Fabian's situation, maybe it should come to light...
