how many hawk fans do you think actually bought season tickets? judging with my eyes, there wasn't that many hawk fans outside of their designated corner.

Geez creating polls for more credits.... shameful. It isn't like you couldn't add more to your ID from your owner/admin powers.

Ongoing we'll alternate Iowa and Nebraska at home for Football. My guess and personal feeling is that Pollard is going to use the same approach for ticket sales for the games - season tickets required, no single-game tickets available.

Would the fans approve or disapprove of the same approach for the Nebraska game? I personally think Nebraska fans would snatch up the tickets at any price and there would be no downside outside of the usual reason of some ISU fans only wanting to see that big marquee games. Why not force Nebraska fans to help our program if they want to see the game?

The only people I have heard ******** about this ticket policy are Iowa fans. No half-wit ISU fan would have a problem spending as little as $180 for season tickets.

Agreed. I couldn't make the iowa game, so I can't give an impression of how many were there.

But I do not a healthy number of hawks who pi$$ed, moaned and b!tched about the ticket policy, said they would just buy season tix and rip up the rest so our stadium would be empty - and can't name a single one who actually followed through on that threat.

Off the hip - I'd say maybe a few hundred actually bought seasons - TOPS!

I'd expect far more NU fans to do so because they're - well just kinda crazy, in a not so bad way.

I am not sure I understand your point.

In Jack Trice (effective 2008), sections 8,9,24, and 25 will be be priority seating for contribution levels $12,500 and $5,000 annually. Currently, donors in the $2,500 level and above sit in these sections. Donors giving $2,500 will have to DOUBLE their contribution to keep their seats. If they renew season tickets and do not meet the new donor requirements, they will be reseated, that is: they will be seated further out and/or further up. When reseating occurs, there will be a ripple effect. It would appear that donors in the lower priority seating areas may be subject to being bumped. Consequently, I see a sizable number of donors and fans being disgruntled (or worse) next year.

There will be a cross-section of donors who will just walk away because their will not be able to afford the new giving levels. Also, if foks believe the cost of season tickets will go down or level out, I believe they are going to be in for a big surprise.

Same thing is true for Hilton Coliseum. Sections 111, 112, 132, and 133, the $2,500 level donors will have to double their contributions to keep their seats. Again, reseating will have a ripple effect.

Simply put, a lot of good Cyclone fans will be priced out of the market. Just remains to be seen is how many.
