King ralphie won't be happy
Buff fan ralphie came up with a slew of baseless complaints about how Referee Clete Blakeman & crew handled the end of the ISU-CU game. Too bad for ralphie that the Big XII Official Coordinator determined among other findings that ralphie doesn't have a clue when it comes to college football rules. At least Hawkins showed some maturity in accepting the Big XII's findings. http://buffzone.com/news/2007/nov/13...ruled-correct/ -

Well, it doesn't look like the decision has deterred many Buff fans from whining.

90% of the students in Boulder are too busy putting on their Birks and eating granola in their VW busses to whine about football. That being said, someone heard there was controversy so they probably staged a sit-in on Pearl Street.

Re: King ralphie won't be happy
Has anyone posted a video (youtube maybe?) with the last 2-3 plays and the replay of it from the broadcast?

-keep I saw it on the chizik show on sunday. The second kick was obviously after time expired.

Re: King ralphie won't be happy
I was hoping to see the last pass play, the player in bounds, what he did with the ball and the refs moving into position for the last snap.

At the game I thought about 4 or 5 seconds after the ball was set that it was snapped. So it had to have been at least 2 seconds on that second snap. I also didn't think the offensive line for Colorado was set on that first play. But that call would have been a dead ball foul and actually helped Colorado. It makes sense that it took a while for the ball to be set by the official. It looked like the Colorado player actually threw the ball ahead after being tackled, probably thinking the official might call time and set the ball. At the time, I remembered thinking that there would be no way that the ball could be set and then snapped for a field goal. I was amazed that it got snapped so quick and that the kicker made it. It makes sense now that the Colorado center just grabbed the ball and snapped it. Great win for the Clones.

Re: King ralphie won't be happy
I recorded the game...all CU players were set on the first play. The 2nd kick was clearly 2 or 3 seconds after the clock had been started.
