does anyone know if CTN games are on in Cedar Rapids?

I know I've seen them on in Iowa City before. Not sure about CR.

Television Information: The Iowa State-Bradley game will be produced by the Cyclone Television Network...WOI-ABC in Des Moines/Ames and KCAU-ABC in Sioux City will carry the game...in all Mediacom markets besides Des Moines/Ames and Sioux City, the game will be shown on the local Mediacom connections channel. The game will also be a part of the ESPN Full Court package.

Glad I still have mediacom, but they used to be on KCRG atleast the last 3 years they have.

i remeber last year when i was back in CR that some of the games were still on KCRG when they just said CTN.

It sounds to me like you are stuck using mediacom to watch the games in eastern Iowa. I doubt very many bars have mediacom anymore, so if you don't have it sounds like you need to buddy up with someone who does lol.

I can't believe the ISU coverage in CR is still so sparse. Growing up there it was frustrating trying to get games on TV, not a big problem now that I'm going to school in Ames.

I'll be pissed if I miss out on watching the televised games over break though.

Most of the games that are televised in some fashion are shown in CR. When I first moved to the area in the mid '90's most games were on KCRG. Then several years ago they started carrying them more sporadically (at the time they were trying to steal the Hawk games from KGAN) Since then our games have been on a variety of channels. KCRG usually carries the ISU games on the Big 12 network and usually the CTN games. Other games are usually carried on the Mediacom Connections channel, in addition to the CTN games not picked up by KCRG.

So a long winded answer is to try KCRG first, then if not on there look on channel 22 in CR on mediacom networks. Also, the Gazette usually lists the channel they're televised on, although it's a crapshoot as to whether they're right (about a 50/50 chance).

this is the reason I still have mediacom. for all the b!tch!in i do about the football TV coverage, Mediacom picks up the basketball slack. I wonder if KGAN (CBS in CR) is still going to be the home of the Hawks now that the Big 10 Network is covering 80% of their games.

There were times last year that it was on other channels as well. One or two times it was on KCRG 9.2 (weather Channel) which was aired in CR if you had a digital cable box.

Atleast they still have labor day with the Jerry Lewis Telethon lol.

I just looked online at the mediacom tv guide site, and the game is on mediacom cable channel 22 tomorrow night.
