Rex is getting the start Sunday at Seattle and no one knows if it's because of injury to Brian or if he's been benched.
Why can't the Bills be playing the Bears this weekend instead of the Patriots?
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Put in Orton or even Chris Leak!! Just kidding, I hope he proves himself better than the first time around this year.
He played well last weekend. Maybe we will see Good Rex this weekend. Seattle's defense has given up a lot of big plays.
You gotta wonder why Orton doesn't get a shot? When he started he did no worse than Rex? Why Rex is still on the roster amazes me...because he was a first rounder?Quote:

Mechanically, Rex is a pretty sound QB. Mentally, he makes far too many mistakes. The big problem, the same mistakes again and again.

I'm not so sure Lovie Smith is as smart as everyone claims him to be.
Blegh, not happy to see him at quarterback again. The fact that he fumbled his first snap in just goes to show. At this point, the Bears aren't going to do ANYTHING this season, and lord knows it's pointless for Rex to be re-signed, so why not see if Orton can do anything?
Unfortunately, the season's over for the Bears and us fans, unless of course some miracle happens and Grossman gets a clue, or Orton suddenly goes crazy and becomes an all-star. Not to mention our defense getting healthy...
His options are somewhat limited are they not? One of these days this team will draft a quarterback. Someone in the front office will realize that you can't win a Super Bowl without one (even though they did it in 1985) and stop picking up everyone else's scraps and go out and get a REAL QB.Quote:
