Re: More Husker Insanity........Fans leave coordinator death threats
A friend of mine was an RA in Maple Hall back in the mid 90s. She had a resident in her "house" from Blair, NE, and after ASU punked the huskers in Tempe in '96, this resident had to go home just to be with her family and lend support because they were all taking the loss so hard. My friend is not one to make stuff like that up either. Very sad.
I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. ah yes...the ASU game. i too remember this. pretty sure Scott Frost's family was receiving death threats then too. but then of course they received gifts the next year when they split the national championship.

I live in Omaha so I have been lucky enough to meet SOME Husker fans that aren't absolutely insane. I cannot say the same thing for Hawkeye fans... It seems like every one I meet is a bigger dbag than the one before. Very sad...

another good one.... my brother was in grad school at UN-L in the late 80s and UCLA just trounced Neb. in a rare tough non-conference game (rare for that era of NU football) in Pasadena, after the game my brother told me about reports of people throwing bricks through the ath. dept. windows (with videos of the game taped to the bricks) and calling for Osborne's head....
CLASSY!

Sorry for back2back posts, but what does everyone think of Neb. fans clapping for the opponent after a game? I mean, are they really sincere? or just doing it to say they did it and pat themselves on the back for it? I heard KU fans did it to NU players after the 76 pt. thrashing, and it rubbed a lot of NU people the wrong way... not so fun now is it, huskers? Did they applaud Ok. State, TAMU, and USC this year?

Based on the footage I saw I don't think any of them were actually left in the stadium at the end of the OSU game.

I've always wondered that if I lined up 1000 hawkfan in a row, what the theoretical limit of dbaggery would be?
I imagine it would be like that experiment where start with a penny and double the amount of money you have each day for a month, sort of thing.
And THAT, my friends, would be a lot of dbags....
