Jack Trice Stadium Improvements: Phase I Begins
AMES, Iowa - It didn't take long for construction and demolition to begin on the first phase of improvements to Iowa State's Jack Trice Stadium. Work literally started after the last thrilling moments of the Cyclones' 31-28 win over Colorado Saturday. Demolition of existing restrooms and concession buildings were continued Thursday.* The $19.5 million phase I project includes two new suite buildings and the installation of a pair of new restroom and concession buildings. The work on the west side of the stadium will create a concourse that is 20 feet wider than the existing walkway.
