OT: Left or right?
I know this is about as far-removed from ISU sports as possible, and it reminds me of some of the exercises we used to do to pass time in 7th grade TAG class, but I thought this was kind of interesting: LINK
The "normal" way to see the picture rotate is counter-clockwise. I personally saw it clockwise, and it took me a while to get it to go backwards. Anyone else?

Once I got there - that's a "shapely" siloutte.
I see what you mean about getting it to go the other way. Took a while for me as well And for a little bit, got kinda stuck in a pendulum motion (back and forth)

Re: OT: Left or right?
Yep clockwise here too...No one can see that the other way :)

Re: OT: Left or right?
I can't get the thing to go counter-clockwise at all. And I'm an engineering student. This is a bunch of crap.

Re: OT: Left or right?
I'm glad to know other people are representing clockwise!! I was the only one at work who DIDN'T see it counter-clockwise! I couldn't even convince them that it went that way!

Re: OT: Left or right?
Ahhh! Now I got it go the other way and can't get it to go back! The only way i could get it to change was to close my eyes and think about it first, though.

Re: OT: Left or right?
I stared at her shadow to get it to go the other way. It took me about three minutes of staring straight at it before I could get it, though!

Re: OT: Left or right?
You guys make it sound hard to get it to the other way. I found it quite easy actually. It started clockwise though.

Re: OT: Left or right?
When I first looked she was going one way, then I read it and after that she went the other way. So I have no idea.

Re: OT: Left or right?
I think the left one is bigger....wait...oh....it's which way is she spinning. I thought I was suppose do something else.
That's fun...it's weird making her spin in the opposite directions.

It's funny - I'm actually a phone IT tech for a software company, so it's considered very left-brained. I think it's also pretty conceptual in the way the end-user needs to have things explained to them, so I think there are elements of both. How about you guys?

Re: OT: Left or right?
whats even more amazing is to open the link minimize the browser, then wait a few seconds, then open the link in a 2nd browser. then put them side by side, and u can get them spinning both ways for a few seconds, then it gets all crazy looking. but whats going on in the picture is simple, this
is a silhouette, 2d not 3d, so the fact is that the brain cant tell if a silhouette is facing forwards or backwards at any givenpoint. its kinda the same principle as shadow puppets
