Richie McKay got fired because everyone he brought in left, and they lost every road game! There wasn't much here, Stevie brought most of the kids he had on a string for the Suckeyes here. Remember J.R. Giddens? Kansas a few years ago, got stabbed in a bar in Lawerence? Billy Self booted him off team and he is here now and playing lights out!
Good point, that would be hilarious to see Alford make that program a powerhouse after being remarkably average at Iowa. Then he can keep throwing the "passion for basketball" back in their faces on a national stage.
