New Renovation Photo's anyone??

I remember someone posted photos and a video clip of the first few days of construction. I looked on Cyclones.com and couldn't find the photos/video footage of the construction. Anyone got any that everyone would like to see? thanks

I work for facilities and we're pretty much the only people that take construction photos at this point. I'll talk to the construction manager and/or his student worker and I'll see what we've archived in the next couple weeks to see if we can't get any up on here.

They just need to put a webcam on top of the practice facility so we can watch. I hear it looks pretty weird not seeing the concession buildings anymore.

We finished the Asbestos abatement last week. It will be a couple of months before we start back on that site again. I can take some pictures then.

I'll check and see if we'll put a webcam up. The guy that installs them is out for a bit cuz his wife just had a baby.

Looks like a webcam is on the way. On the facilities site, they had a cam watching the south MU work. That's been done for awhile. I noticed that that cam is now gone, so there looks to be one open (and changing locations hopefully).

Well, come on. Where are our priorities here? New baby, or web cam on a football stadium?!

Redrocker, I remember you mentioned about the asbestos abatement awhile back. Was that used as insulation in the concession stands and restrooms?? I was kind of suprised there was even asbestos in Jack Trice since it seems like a long time ago that people quit using it.

The roofing was all Asbestos. Nothing inside. Asbestos has been around along time, you can still find it in certain products at Big Box stores in Plastic Cement (Black Jack) Brands. They do not label it "Asbestos", they call it Chrysolite (one of the 6 forms of Asbestos). Non Firable Asbestos (roofing & floor tile) products were not banned until 1990. Jack Trice was built in the early 1970's
