Kansas - 4 - 4 star, 1 - 3 star (The rich continue to flourish)
Kansas State none signed (Where is Huggy when you need him?)
Missouri 6 - 3 star
Oklahoma 1 - 5 star, 2 - 3star
Okla State 2 - 2 star
Texas 1 - 4 star
Texas Tech 3 - 3 star
Nebraska none (actually a team mate of Lucca's signed a day or two ago)
Texas A&M 2 - 3 star
Baylor 1 - 4 star, 1 - 1 star
Colorado 5 - 3 star
Iowa State 2 - 3 star, 2 - 2 star
Overall, the Big XII appears to be weak. What do the rest of you think?
I think Stars are full of Sheeeet when talking about 2-4 stars. They know who the 5 stars are b/c they are easy to figure out. I bet Lucca won't be regarded as a 3 star when he starts playing. (pending him actually playing or leaving...)
Some of the Big12 teams are still pretty young so they don't really need to bring in too many 5 star athletes.
Make sure you don't call the charge. But make sure you call the foul on the scrum....
I realize that just because a guy is rated a 5 star it dosnt gurantee that he will produce and/or provide team chemistry, but how often does a team turn away a 5star just because they already have some guys ahead of him at that position. How do you know that the guys ahead of him will produce!? I just think that if a talented kid wants to play for you, you shouldnt turn him away and hope for the best. Take as many "talented" kids as you can and hope some of them will produce!!!
Who cares what they rate them at. What matters is how they play in games.
I care, because how highly they are rated has a pretty good correlation to how they perform. There are always exceptions (Wesley obviously better than a 2 star freshman, Tags a little overrated at 4 star freshman).
