Anyone else double their DVD collection today?
Those movies for $3,4,5 get me every time. I am a sucker for DVDs, especially cheap ones! I can't even believe that movies were that cheap today...

Re: Anyone else double their DVD collection today?
That's basically all I bought today! I think I got around 15...you're right, the $3 bin at Walmart definitely got me...

The only one I got today was the new die hard, it was a good flick too.

Re: Anyone else double their DVD collection today?
Well, since I have over 150 DVD's (I also have 400+ CD's) it would be hard to even expand that number by half...

Re: Anyone else double their DVD collection today?
I get 50 new movies for $7 total every time DVD-Rs go on sale at Best Buy... *ahem* No bargain bins for me! True and Valiant
I also remember a game with Kansas when Cy (wore a huge suit then) went out to center field, squatted, and "pooped" a couple of chickens that had been dyed blue then chased them around.

I bought Evil Dead and will watch it for the first time tonight. I have seen Army of Darkness several times. I figured I had best see the first ones sometime!

At Circuit City, seasons 1-3 of Monk were 12.99 each...normally 40-50 dollars.

Re: Anyone else double their DVD collection today?
I saw House, South Park, and Nip/Tuck seasons were like $20 each at Best Buy today. That would have been sweet. Except, those same prices are available anywhere second-hand as well, many of which offer a return period if they don't play.

Were the dvd's you guys got widescreen? My wife said all she saw was the fullscreen versions which is why she did not buy many.

This is totally off the topic of the thread, but has anyone ever seen this site? DVD Profiler, by Invelos Software, Inc. - you can download a free app onto your computer that can catalog your DVD's for you, track to whom you've loaned them, create wish lists, etc. You can then publish it on the internet.
Here's our site (yes, it's an odd combination - most of them are mine, including the Disney stuff, which is just in case we ever pop out a kid): DVDCollection

I only got one new DVD today: Hot Fuzz.
Funniest movie of the year, in my humble opinion.
