What If Mizzou Beats KU in OT?

How far down the rankings will KU fall? IMO I would think they deserve to hang right up there in the top 5! But I know the voters on the coasts won't see it that way!

So...if this scenario plays out...how far do you think KU will fall?

If it goes to OT, you can't drop the loser more than a few spots.

I still think the media can't believe the KU is where they are. I say they'd drop to about #10 or so. That may be a few spots off but if it happened I guess I wouldn't be surprised.

IMO, KU will fall below USC at 2 losses. The voters will hammer them because this is their first real test all season and they will probably get beat by at least 10 tonight.

Is this a rule of the BCS ratings or just a general rule of thumb?

In my opinion I totally agree with you...but the voters won't see it this way! They will bury KU if they get a chance to do it!

That said...a high scoring OT game would be great to see tonight! Par for the weekend as I sit and watch the Tenn-Kentucky game in OT...

That's just my thinking. I honestly think Missouri is the best team in the nation at the moment. That's why I voted them ahead of LSU in the glorious BlogPoll. ;)

Isn't it amazing that your statement can be made and be taken seriously?! Wow...it is true...not a lot of teams would look forward to playing Missouri right now...

It feels weird and dirty and wrong.

The thing is, we played them pretty damn close, and if Meyer didn't decide to turn the two minute drill into that exhibition on how to waste time, things could've gotten interesting.

This is the BCS, it does not matter who you lose to, it matters WHEN you lose.

Agree...which is too bad! After watching USC the other night I think they might be as tough as anyone...but you can't lose to Stanford and expect a break to help you get in at the end of the season!

Too bad there is not a playoff to see which team is the best!

Let's be fair--it's ALWAYS been like this. Before the BCS, the national title was decided by polls and the same rule applied.
