It appears that three-star running back Jason Ford's on again, off again commitment to the Iowa Hawkeyes has come to an end. Does this also mean that Iowa State's recruiting is crumbling because Ellington decommitted from the Cyclones and chose Iowa instead?

Until Iowa can do more with the recruits they get, I'm not worried. The Hawks have just as many 5, 4 and 3-star recruits not named Ferentz as we do this year.

I've heard he may change his mind and come back to Iowa State just like Ford changed his mind away from the Hawks.

Rumor on the Iowa board is that the commit changed because Ferentz is leaving....

Just a rumor though so take it for what it is worth.

This kid is trouble. He's a fantastic athlete, but this is the 2nd time he's de-committed from Iowa. He has no idea what he's doing. I wish he would come to Iowa, but at some point, you have to realize that character may be an issue. Good riddance I suppose.

His character being an issue is a bunch of garbage. We all know Iowa has plenty of players with character issues!! Ford would fit in well with the other 12-15 players who have been hand cuffed.
