It looks like we started their downward spiral into not making a bowl. Being 5-3, all they had to do was knock off a 1-8 iowa state. They finished 5-7 losing to Fresno State. Didn't we do the same thing to Colorado two years ago? |

Except Colorado still made it to the Big 12 Championship game while we were left at home, we did start a CU skid. |

My guess is the way things ended this year will be the way things go next year (besides of course ISU improving) |

A classic example of the "Iowa State" effect. After losing to us, teams seem to go into a downward spiral...

Yeah, if we had beat UNI, they would not be playing for the mythical national championship.
We almost knocked Kent State and Toledo out of their conferences also.
We are almost tuff as rain (plagarized from a neighbor school). |
