Conference Championship Games can be unfair

If the regular season were over today, Missouri and West Virginia would be playing for the title. But because Missouri must win against OU in the Big 12 title game, Ohio State will slide into the BCS game without playing a game if OU wins.

Big 10, Big East, and Pac 10 teams do not have to play a conference championship game. That benefits them greatly as those teams can slide into the title game much easier.

I think the NCAA should make every conference have a title game. That makes it fair across the board.

I agree that all conferences should or should not play one. The NCAA has left it up to each conference to decide, but for the best interests of the game - it should be equal across the board.

Big East and Pac 10 have round robin tourny's, it is basically a championship since they all play each team in the conference. My problem is just with the Big 10.

but if you have to play in the conf. championship game, that is 13 games before your bowl game. big 10, pac 10, big east, and whatever other conference doesn't have one only play 12. boo.

Not so fast my friend...this is not about winning or the bcs title game...this is the big 12 conference...its about the money about the money about the money!!!!

The boys in Dallas made this BED AND THEIR GONNA HAVE TO LIVE WITH IT...I have always thought that a championship game was just a moeny grab and would come back to haunt somebody and maybe.. just maybe this is the year that mizzou gets haunted big time!!

And the big 10 goes championship because of the money syndrome from dallas texie!!!
