Game thread: Wake Forest @ Iowa

Anyways, I have a feeling this is going to be a trend throughout the entire season. I'm going to use ISU as an example, since McDermott runs a similar style of play. ISU really turned the ball over a lot at times last year, and had poor shot selection. There was improvement over the year, but also a lot of times when the team would slip into their old habits.

This year will be very similar for Iowa. Iowa has played very well at times (against Bradley), and very poorly (against Northern Colorado and Wake), and has taken decent care of the ball only to let up on defense (Utah State).

They'll eventually come around, but it's growing pains.

I don't know how much more of this game I can take. Wake is up 14 and they have missed their last 13 three pointers.

How do you go almost 10 minutes without a fieldgoal and miss your last 14 3's and still have a 10 point lead.

Wow, that is the ugliest game I have seen every played at the college level. I can shoot better than these guys with my eyes closed. SH, spare me the great defense thing. WF has missed 14 open 3 pointers in a row. Iowa isn't doing any better.

weird that right now it's 47-32 Wake Forest, yet Iowa is shooting better than Wake right now...

Let's see, Iowa has been making two pointers, Wake has been missing 3 point shots, and taking a lot more shots than Iowa. Not to mention, Iowa has gone something like 3-10 from the charity stripe, and Wake has made 12 free throws.

And just because Wake is winning doesn't mean Iowa's shooting percentage isn't poor.
