Does anyone get the Mediacom HD package?

    How does it work?

Im only getting just the big Digital cable package now, but now that I'm switching to HDTV I will be buying the HD package. Give me your thoughts Mediacom users.

Get 2 cards from Mediacom and get a Tivo S3. Nothing compares to an S3.

The HD package is relatively affordable at $9.95/month to get both ESPN's in HD, plus CBS, NBC, ABC, Fox, a few movie channels and Discovery. Well worth the small amount extra.

Agreed. Not as many channels as Directv but the price is right. All the networks and ESPN are all I really need in HD, and Discovery, Mojo, etc. are just bonuses. Plus I got an "introductory" HBO package including HBOHD which is very cool. I was a little disappointed that the On Demand feature did not include any HD programming or movies, I had that in Seattle with Comcast.

I've got it and I certainly enjoy it but I wish they'd get more channels, especially Fox Sports HD.

I agree, the Tivo Series 3 is great. I contemplated switching to Directv for more HD channels, but I just didn't want to lose my Tivo. If the Series 3 is out of your price range (around $800), there is a new TivoHD that is a little cheaper at around $300 (i think)

U should be able to get the M Card to replace the need for 2 S Cards in your Tivo. Would save u a little bit on money.
