Regardless of your favorite sports team, religion, political affiliation, etc; this is a day that shall always be remembered by all of us as the day that changed the world forever.
In honor of the 295 employees of my employer that perished that day five years ago, here is a link to the memorial website for the employees of Marsh & McLennan. ( Link )

A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player.
but I think the best way to show the terrorists that they can't win, is to go about our lives in mostly normal manner. A moment of silence is great and the readings of the names at ground zero is profound...but we must show them that they can never win.
A dark somber anniversary indeed. Seems like yesterday I was walking about campus and going to class when I heard the news. We have had bouts with terrorism in the past both with the IRA and the latest batch of middle eastern funded groups in my home country....but nothing compares to the stark horror and utter disbelief of that day.
On that we can agree. I work for Aon, Marsh's biggest competitor. Today we remember the similar numbers we lost, but all those lost that day. In addition let's not forget the over 2,000 people we have lost in the subsequent 5 years of the war on terror.
Take a few moments to see who some of these people were at the linked website.
