Just please don't start a CyBookie event for whether he stays or leaves. That would be in REALLY poor taste.

as long as people just dont accept this ruling and give up. keep chanting at games. keep writing to both lucca and the NCAA. dont let the energy die on this and lucca will see that.

We all remember making fun of our little brother. And then that day came when you looked at him and thought "Crap, when did he become taller than me?" There comes a time when you just know your time has passed and it's their spotlight now.

We need to get somthing going more often during the games.. also it would be pretty sweet if we lit up the dorm rooms to say free lucca.. i remember when it was done for beat iowa..
| Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative. ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other." |

Another thing that would be neat to see, is Cyclone Alley wearing jailhouse shirts, with Lucca's mug shot printed on them and NCAA in the inmate number under the image.

For those of you that are convinced he's leaving, help me understand something. If he would leave over this, then why would he have come here in the first place? He could have had the European money 18 months ago, before he played HS ball and before he came to ISU. If that money was that important to him, he would have taken it then. This is a smart kid who has a much bigger picture in mind. Give him the credit he is due.

Sorry. It's Friday. Bah. It IS Friday. Forgot to move the quotes after inserting the "clap"'s
However, yes. We should yell the word, "clap". It would be both unique and highly amusing.

I posted something similar in one of the other Lucca threads. If a college degree is important to him, that hasn't been jeopardized by this issue of him not playing this year. He still has his scholarship and the opportunity to get a degree from a very fine American university.
Maybe, if he goes back to Europe and turns pro, perhaps there's some arrangement where he could attend college part time and work towards a degree while playing pro ball, but that just seems like a messy way to get a degree.
