Can someone tell me what is different right now? I don't live in Ames, so i am not sure what it is that looks 'weird'. Thanks.
The restrooms and concession stands are gone so you can see straight through to the stands.
The 4 concession stands / bathrooms are gone
They've knocked out the bathrooms, they're digging into the hill and they've removed the top 10-20 rows of benchs on the west side, and completly destroyed the concrete where they were

They should keep it that way. And have mobile gyro carts strolling around. =)

OK, inappropriate but it's a Friday and I'm in an odd mood.
Redrocker, what are they doing with all that dirt?? Are we going to make more space behind the stadium that is built up to that level?? It looks like lots of dirt on the north end in your bottom photo. Or am I seeing things?
Not 100% sure. The new concession stands are big and will take up the area the 2 of the old ones did. Our part of the job will not start for a couple of month.
As I understand it they are supposed to be widening the concourse, which means the conession stands have to move farther back...
In addition they're supposed to be bigger I think, so they'll come even further back. But thats just how I understand it.
I'll try asking about the webcam at work today, they were putting one up, I'm just not sure why they haven't put it on the FP&M webpage yet
