Wow, that's about the funniest thing I've seen on here in a long, long time. I'm glad I wasn't drinking anything when I read that.

Re: Iowa vs ULM Game Thread
Jeremy said tonight (gotta give him credit for this one)...
There were just as many ISU fans at the game in Oregon than there was Iowa fans at CHA tonight. -
Re: Iowa vs ULM Game Thread
Looks like tough times in Iowa City losing as they did.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -

Re: Iowa vs ULM Game Thread
Looking at the roster, I find it difficult to imagine any of them, except possibly Looby/Johnson playing significant minutes on even a mid-major team, let alone start. Not to mention the fact that they were recruited to play on an up-tempo team, while that's not Lick's style.
When was Iowa an uptempo team? Tom Davis hasn't coached them for a while.
I believe in the SA era, after his 2nd season, there were maybe 8 sell-outs total.
In SA's 3rd season they almost sold out the season - 15307 per game average. I know they had several sellouts toward the end of the year in the 2005 season.

And I'm aware that attendance was ranked highly, but has been dropping for years due to mediocre play and lack of excitement around the program. There was a time when fans were willing to pay the money to go to games, but what's the reason now? I'll give you SA's third year, but since then, sell outs in CHA have been rare.

Re: Iowa vs ULM Game Thread
Iowa fans are going to have to be very patient with Lickliter. This team is absent any proven DI talent absent Freeman, and we'll see how good the freshmen are when they start banging with Wisconsin and Michigan State night in and night out.
He was dealt the same kind of hand McD was when we ran Morgan
