Mac Just said Redshirt a possibility for Wesley
for Wesley, they will have to see how things go these next few games.

Re: Mac Just said Redshirt a possibility
We better find a good guard then.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -

Re: Mac Just said Redshirt a possibility for Wesley
He'll be same year as brackins next year, which wouldn't be such a bad thing. although he is very good to ahve on the floor

Re: Mac Just said Redshirt a possibility for Wesley
At this point in time, it might be best for Wesley as a player if he wants a chance at the next level. Give him a year to rest it and be ready for next year so it doesn't hinder him forever.

Re: Mac Just said Redshirt a possibility for Wesley
Doesn't the NCAA have some say over a medical redshirt? What are the chance of them granting us anything at this point??

Re: Mac Just said Redshirt a possibility for Wesley
It certainly looked like he was hurting a lot more tonight than he was against UNI. I assumed that was because it was his second game on the bad ankle with a somewhat short turnaround.
This could be a huge blow for our team this year if we don't have him.
I feel like Charlie Brown. Someone sets the ball for us to kick it (get a win) and then it's yanked away from us (might lose one of our best players).
Not horrible for the future though and it's not like we were going anywhere this season.

Re: Mac Just said Redshirt a possibility for Wesley
Wes told him that he couldnt push off.
He has played two games thus far. I think if he plays in less than 25% of the games, he can get a redshirt.

New from NCAA office:
If you take a medical redshirt, your not allowed to travel with the team, and have to sit in street clothes at home games. This is not a rule created by the NCAA, however, it is made by members of all the conferences. F the NCAA

Re: Mac Just said Redshirt a possibility for Wesley
While I agree I just feel bad for Clark. This is his final year. Just a couple months ago things looked good for a decent senior season. Now with Lucca out, Wesley possibly out, Jiri effected by injury, and Haluska not making shots, it appears his chance to go out on a winning team and possibly even shine on a good team is slipping away fast.
I wish Clark could redshirt too and be back next year.... -

Yeah and he clearly looked very frustrated on the bench. Granted, most guys that foul out look unhappy, but Wes was wearing a big frown.

Re: Mac Just said Redshirt a possibility for Wesley
If he can't play "his game" then why waste a year? That would make Wes, Brackins, Garrett, and Lucca all the same year next year. Along with the point guard from MI coming in next year that could make for a good future.
Here we go again... talking about the future. When is the future now?
