Does this mean Captain Kirk is back in the running?
I wonder if sometimes these coaches are just toying with all of us.
Makes sense to me.
Maybe next it will be Pelini to Michigan...?:skeptical:
or capt kirk to michigan and pelini to iowa
I think I remember Tim Floyd saying this exact same thing.
Maybe McCarney to Michigan, Callahan to Iowa, Pelini to Nebraska
Herbstreit stated that he (Miles) was going to LSU as it was a definate fact that he was going to go. Now this comes out, who is doing what here? It's kinda like wiping your ***** before you s#!% it just doesn't make sense.
I'm not totally convinced that Miles is staying...it's clear no one knows what's going on.
its cool how all of these jobs are tying together with pelini. he will be the victor in this whole deal.
Miles just conducted an impromptu, brief press conference.
Also, LSU athletic director has told multiple media outlets Miles will remain at LSU after coming to a verbal agreement, the contract has not yet been signed by Miles.Quote:
I am the head coach at LSU, I will be the head coach at LSU, I have no interest in talking to anybody else. I have a championship game to play...and I'm excited about the opportunity of my damn strong football team to play in it.
It's really all I'd like to say. It's unfortunate that I had to address my team with this information this morning. But with that being done, I think we'll be ready to play.
He seemed pretty ****** at the presser...but i guess rightly so. He has to keep his team focused and this really wasn't helping.
