    Pomlee

    http://www.qctimes.com/sports/varsity/

Nice video interview with Pomlee and teammates about their upcoming season. There is a decent practice dunk by Pomlee at the 1:50 mark. He had 16 points in the opening game. He had a great AAU summer. I hope we are still recruiting him. If you look on the left their is also a link about their first game.

I remember watching him when I lived in Dport. The kid completely dominated his HS games in the area against some decent talent. Same HS as Jessan Gray.

I hope we sign LA. Get the Iowa kids, especially now that Brister's scholly opened up.

And then get Appleton and call it a class.

    cyclonez7,

Would you post a summary of that game and tell us what you think about Pomlee? Thanks. That will be a good game.

    Re: Pomlee

No one has offered yet because of his blood clot, i think that the schools that are recruiting want to see how he responds and plays in his senior season...and i also heard his grades can be an issue.

He still may have not qualified, otherwise he would have offers.

Thompson has one now but when he came the deal was if the scholarship could be used elsewhere it would be. Peterson and Haluska each have one now from my understanding and I would imagine thay have the same deal as Thompson.

Clark, Boozer, Brackins, Garrett, Jiri, CJ, WJ, Staiger, Vette is 9.
Thompson, Haluska, and Peterson is 12 total.
1 (Brister) open as of now.
Gain 2 due to graduation, 1 open, and Thompson's is 4.
4 guys coming in so one of the other walk ons would have to give their ship up as well.

    Re: Pomlee

Pomlee would be a great addition. Before this blood clot he was being recruited by kansas, tennessee, wisconsin and others. He is a defensive minded player and his offense will need work but we could use him. Nobody doubts his potential as a player just his medical issues and maybe an academics issue.

    Re: Pomlee

I would be happy to take him. I would hope we wouldnt take him over grades and not his illness. If the kid has the heart and skills to play for us, let him play. Sometimes you have to take a chance on someone. I know that blood clot stuff is tricky, but we shouldnt bar his future on a what if.
