This is another rumor that I was given from the Detroit Free Press contact...
Supposedly, KF met privately with the Michigan officials in NYC last night when both were attending an awards banquet that a lot of coaches and ADs go to. It's unknown what was discussed exactly but this obviously thickens the plot even more.
UPDATE - 9:13AM
Supposedly, KF is actually interviewing for the position. It's unknown if last night's meeting was the interview or if that will be held yet this week. Also supposedly, Michigan is trying to get a coach in place (at least privately) by the end of the week.

A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player. |

With all due respect Jeremy and ISU22, i'd rather Ferentz stayed at Iowa, at least with him there we know what they are and what they will be.....But, you get a new coach in there, like a Bob Huggins in B-ball and suddenly they could be better....
I like them in the current state...Arrests, .500 records, losing to ISU......
