Did anyone else know this? This from ProFantasySports.com...
(Under the "Studs" category) QB Drew Tate, Iowa Hawkeyes
Tate was a very late scratch against Syracuse last week and the Hawkeyes almost paid a huge price as their defense had to bail them out in the overtime win. But Tate should be back for the clash against rival Iowa State. Our guess is if he is able to walk, he will play. Tate is a fiery competitor and will be looking for revenge against the Cyclones after being knocked out of the game last season. He will be looking at an Iowa State defense that ranks 108th in the country. Look for the Iowa coaching staff to exploit that weakness and Tate put up a big day against Iowa State.
(They had Meyer under the "Duds" category!) QB Bret Meyer, Iowa State Cyclones
Iowa State was able to hold off UNLV in the fourth quarter to secure a 16-10 victory Saturday. The bright spot on the field for the Cyclones was RB Steve Hicks, who finished with 112 yards rushing and one touchdown. QB Bret Meyer completed 14 of 21 passes with one interception. In Week 1, Meyer threw two touchdowns and no interceptions in their thrilling win over Toledo. This proves he has started the season inconsistently. You may want to avoid Meyer next week when they play at #16 Iowa.
I don't think you can call Meyer inconsistent based on two games. And one interception makes you a dud??
I think I'd pick Meyer this week since Tate isn't 100% and could easily be knocked out of the game. This site is giving Iowa/Tate way too much credit.

Ya, all we have to do is get Drewby frustrated and he will spike the ball in frustration reinjurying his oblique injury as well as firing up the old hang nail injury causing him to miss 2/3 of the game allowing Pukeye fans this years excuse for getting beat by the Clones....

Question for the day: Can I still make season tickets work for FB and MBB if I move to Canada? |
