I was being a loser and looking through myspace ran through some ex cyclone players myspace Marcus Brister posted these messages on Mike Taylors Myspace im pretty sure these are legit sites to. Before you read get in gangsta mode!!!

Yeap im don but i cant be writin all da places n **** i got plan for next but my **** in order real talk and i refuse to watch dis ***** play petty *** 30 mins a game and avg. 6 points n 2 assists and 3 turnova and take me out every otha min n **** so i was like **** dis ***** but i got schools bac home im ****in wit cuz you kno i got a lil one da way too and my babymama goin on 5 months!!! So i got mouths to feed so i gotta go sumwhere where i can put tha numbers up to support me and my fams future!!!

When Brister couldn't show up on time for practice/games and it was clear he was going to go back home for a non-basketball reason, that's why he never saw any real action during the season.

Why would a coach play a guy much at all if he knew it was leaving and without that - a guy that did not show up on time?

What exactly does that mean? Does he think he's going to get paid to play college, or does he think he is going to play professionally beyond college? He probably isn't, but how does he think he won't get the chance to showcase his skills after 3 games into his freshman season.

Note to Marcus, I hope the door hit ya where the good lord split ya. Even if he has a point, we don't need f'n players like that. No team does.

Excellent post. I'd rather have a guy who is trying hard, practices hard, shows up on time, and is a good teammate over someone who isn't any of that.

It is the people on myspace, they try really hard to make their pages look worse than anyone elses, it is a status thing.
