The way Iowa is playing at UNI right now, we're in trouble. They look much, much hungrier than our team does by a long shot. To think Lickliter could come into Hilton in his first year with the crap pot he inherited from Stevo and beat us is almost unconscionable.

Do we beat the Hawks??? Wrestling yes.... Basketball... I doubt we could beat Ames High tonight. Barnes would of schooled us to the tune of 25 points.

We will beat the Hawks again in twiddlywinks. Mark my words.
How can you predict based on our roller coaster team? Jacy Holloway looks like a giant for scoring when compared to ou guards right now. We need a 15 point scorer on this team also.
Why not just play forwards and centers?

I've thought Iowa would beat us after our 1st regular season game, and my opinion has not changed since. We are at best a 4 man team right now. (PG desperately needed!!!!) Iowa is not good, but they can field a 5 man team.
Sorry, I call them as I see them.

They also played without the Peterson kid who has started at PG for them.
I don't like our chances near as much as I did at this time yesterday.

We're going to have a big bounce back game on Sat. and get a W.
If I were GMac, I would be working on some kind of press against the Hawks. They are vulnerable there. It would also speed up the game, which I believe would make us play looser and get Iowa out of their plodding tempo.

He should work on the press anyway because every team should press our guards.

Why does everyone just assume we will play like we did tonight? I have my doubts we will this bad on Saturday. I see the game as being pretty much a toss-up. I'm going to predict a close win in front of the home-town crowd. Something like 56-51.

Still close, though.
