With the two games back to back tonight, I think its a great time to discuss if we got a chance of beating these guys.
Personally, I would have to say no. The two games I have seen of the clones (sorry, not a season ticket holder) have not been pretty at all. The hussle and lack of focus seems to really be a downfall that I think Iowa will take advantage of.
Now Iowa hasn't been realy sharpt either. Offensively, they seem to be struggling just as much as we are, so really it will come down to who makes the least mistakes. Of course this is an easy answer, but really its the full truth. Neither team will be able to outshoot the other, so its who gets the points off turnovers.
Other thoughts?

Watch Iowa play right now with Freeman on the floor for them. We're not beating them this year at Hilton if we play like we did tonight against Drake.

It depends which Iowa State team shows up for the game. The team that beat Oregon State or the team that got blown out by Drake?

It also depends whether Hilton Magic shows up to the game. That is something you all have control of.

Other thoughts? Short answer - NO. We have no guards. Another question --- will ISU win a Big 12 game this season? |

Sadly, I'd have to say no, I don't think we'll beat the Hawks. We don't appear to defend the guards very well. I think Freeman could have a big game against us. I hope I'm wrong, but there really hasn't been any positives out of the Clones this year.
The Oregon State game was a nice road win, but honestly, that's not a good team.

This Freeman fellow isn't making me feel good. About Saturday or my 100k bet against the Hawks tonight.

Luckily the team we were playing was just barely more awful than us. After that game, I said both teams set basketball back a few years...bad, bad, bad.
Iowa handles us because they have better guards with Freeman back. We can't defend and TL is a good coach. If fact right now I would say TL> GMAC based on what I've seen.

Why has Jiri regressed? We needed him to score with Wes injured.
How did we beat EA Sports?
