Re-seating donations

So like everyone else I got the re-seating donation letter this week. I emailed ISU asking when the forms would be sent out so I could go up a donation level. They said the forms go out in January, but if I wanted my donation applied to the 2008 tickets I'd have to up my donation online before the end of the year.

Does this make any sense? Did anyone else get that from the letter Pollard sent out?

Re: Re-seating donations

I got the letter, but the end of the year thing makes no sense at all.

Original thread from last week. (Important FB/MBB Seating Adjustments and FB Season Ticket Info)

My understanding is that you can up your donation, but the money you have paid by April is all that counts towards your points and priority seating.

Would you be wiling to edit out the personal info and post the email?

I am curious to this as well. If I have to up it by year end, I need to know fast.

Re: Re-seating donations

You have to have it in by April, it is the same every year for the past few.

Re: Re-seating donations

I emailed them back and they just called to clarify. You can donate now if you want and apply it to 08 or you can wait for the mailing in January and it will still apply to 08. They will be as flexible as you want.

Basically I was trying to ask when I would need to up my giving level and they were saying anytime.

Whew. I am happy now. I didn't want to have to lay down more cash during Christmas!

Re: Re-seating donations

As someone else noted in that other thread, you can donate now for '08 and claim it on your '07 taxes. :)

Hopefully that tax break will still be there in a few years. The Dems really want to get rid of it.
