AMES, Iowa -- Not only do Iowa State student-athletes learn in the classroom and on the playing field, they also gain new life skills and address community issues during their collegiate career. Two Iowa State student-athletes went a step further, representing Iowa State at the annual Big 12 Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) meeting last month in Dallas, Texas.* Iowa State was represented by golfer Eric Lindquist and gymnast Ashley Kent.* Lindquist, a Sioux Falls, S.D. native, is a redshirt freshman for the** Cyclones.
