Does anyone one know if Stephon Dale is off his suspension and will play this week? What was he suspended for? I had heard good things about him last year and was hoping he would make an impact on our thin D-line this year. From what I've read on him, he is a little undersized but is strong and quick...

I'm pretty sure his suspension was alcohol related. He lived next to my little brother (total lush) last year and my bro said he (dale) partied about as much as he did. That being said, most college students do, and if our guys are just having a little fun (as opposed to some kind of violent crime), I don't really mind, granted they don't take themselves off the field in the process.

Yes, Dale's suspension was because he was arrested for OWI (1st offense) in May.
He did play on Saturday and did ok in his limited action. I was surprised, however, that his snaps were as a DE instead of DT where he had been talked about as a potential starter in the spring. Regardless, the more quality depth we can develop on the D-line, the better.
