To the Badgers. ISU didnt really have a good chance, and i think Mac didnt have him as a top target. He was supposedly supposed to be an Iowa lean, but the hawks do say Negedu's coming to Iowa City.

Their core group of players surpass EIU's for the next season, IMO. Their coach is liked a heck of a lot more EIU's and honestly, Madison surpasses Iowa City as a college town by leaps and bounds. If you are a young college person who wants to have some fun, then Madison easily beats out IA City. Heck, Madison has halloween riots almost everyyear...those silly Badgers.

If Leuer took a visit during a Wisconsin game. He probably was shocked with the atmospher. I hear Camp Randall is one of the best places ever to see a football game.
Also I think Jamie is trying to bring some camp randall to camp Jack Trice.

Also I think Jamie is trying to bring some camp randall to camp Jack Trice. Imagine a stadium filled to compacity like Neb. always is, but unlike Neb. imagine those same fans stand'n, yell'n and LOUD for the entire game. Whether the Badgers are playing Montana State or Ohio State, it does not matter, Camp Randall will be packed and rock'n. In my dream, soon Pollard will have The Jack packed and rock'n like Randall. He's already onto a great start. Remember, WI's football used to be terrible, but they took the time and built the program and the amenities and created something to be proud of. Now doesn't that sound like a certain program that we all bleed for?

I had some good friends that lived in Madison. I went to a football game there once vs. Iowa. It was a great atmosphere for a game. The pre-game tailgating wasn't near as fun as ISU's. They do dispersed parties throughout the campus area. I like the open field tailgate that we have in Ames.

There are very few venues for football that compare to Camp Randall Stadium or Lambeau Field. Those places are hallowed ground here in Wisconsin. For Badger and Packer fans, football is like a religion.

Don't lose sight of the fact that Wisconsin is a quality basketball program. I think they've won the Big 10 twice in the last eight years, and they've been to the Final Four at least once. The Badgers, Michigan State, and Illinois have been the best teams in the Big 10 over the last 10 years. He's choosing the program with the most basketball tradition, regardless of how wild Camp Randall might be.

Of course, but this thread started heading towards football after someone questioned whether Leuer attended a game at Camp Randall. The Badgers had had some success in the last decade throughout their entire athletic department. Hockey, FB. MBB and gymnastics have all been above average since '96.
