Sash and his "silent committment".

I would wait and see on this one. I'd be interested in knowing where that story comes from. I still think he's Iowa's as soon as they offer.

Re: Sash and his "silent committment".

I don't think they will offer a second Iowa receiver.

[blockquote][/blockquote] This represents my opinions. It is a 100% certainty that I will be right or wrong.

I doubt they see him as a receiver.

Re: Sash and his "silent committment".

I do not think he is Iowa's as soon as they offer. They just got a huge commit from Nielsen and Hundermark. Nielsen is 6'4 and will be competing down at state in the sprints and sprint relay. The kid can flat out fly. Nielsen plays LB, but could play FS/SS with his speed. So if Sash is looking at PT, its with us more than likely.

Yeah, I'm going to go ahead and disagree with that. i think they definitely are recruiting him as a receiver. He's got the height you want (6-1) the speed you want (10.65 100 meters) and he's built more like a receiver than a safety. Watch his clips and he has some skills as a receiver too and he's pretty elusive. I'm not sure he would have the mentality or toughness you need to play safety in the Big XII.

I don't doubt that he may end up commiting to ISU but I think that silint commit is boloney.

Tyler Sash is a fine athlete... and can be a game breaker returning punts or kickoffs...

We will soon find out about his supposed "silent committment". Iowa has offered.

Re: Sash and his "silent committment".

I think he will be the 4th of the state's top 5 to committ to Iowa

Re: Sash and his "silent committment".

He is waiting for the ISU and Iowa summer football camps to decide.
Iowa State’s coaching staff is a big plus for Sash, and Chris Ash, Sash’s primary recruiter is doing well so far. Sash said," I like the Cyclones obviously. They were the first school that offered me. I like their coaching staff. They are really down to earth people. They are really easy to talk to. They are honest with you,” Sash said. Sash is likely to make a decision before his senior season starts to take pressure off of him during his final season at Oskaloosa. “I just want to get it over with and know were I’m going so I can have fun playing high school football,” said Sash. “I just want to be a kid and play high school football just like everybody else. I don’t want to have to worry about playing bad in one game and getting a dropped scholarship or anything like that.” As a junior, Sash was named first team All-State by the Des Moines Register and the Iowa Newspaper Association. He caught 49 passes for 1,000 yards and had 12 touchdowns. He also rushed for 910 yards with 13 touchdowns.

EIU is the other Okoboji University for serious students and home of Captain Kirk who pilots the Enterprise on its Trek through the Universe for finding his next great job. Captain, beware of your Superbowl.
