Alex (Chicago): Andy, what do you think of tomorrow's Iowa/Iowa State game? Any chance the Cyclones can get the win?  Andy Katz: (11:58 AM ET ) Not a lot. Both teams are having rough seasons. I can't remember a time when this game had as little national relevance.

I don't even think that there is a lot of hype locally. Most people I know are looking forward to Sunday. Saturday seems to be more of an afterthought.

You know its sad when ISU bball is not worth looking forward two after 8 games. Unfortunately you are correct. Does anybody remember a team this bad at all? Any chance we finish .500?

I remember during the early part of the football season I was excited whenever I would see a basketball post on this board...I can't believe how I feel this early in the season.
Don't get me wrong...I will still cheer the team on and support them...but I certainly do not have the excitement in me toward basketball that I had just a few weeks back...
