Sale wasn't too bad...
We snagged (1) jersey and a bunch of hats and t-shirts for Christmas gifts for co-workers and friends. I never bought that much cyclone stuff for so cheap.
The jersey is pretty cool. We are going to make some quick adjustments to it like removing the elastic arm bands and shortening the length of the jersey for a better fit.

The fact is that a huge number of NCC members got in 30 minutes ahead of the general public and bought all the "normal" sizes. That's not a criticism or condemnation; it's just what happened. Lay off.
I went in with no expectations whatsoever- I didn't know what it would be like or what would be up for sale. I'm not disappointed in the least that I didn't purchase anything- it was my decision to put back the stuff I had because I didn't want to wait in line for 3 hours to buy it. I'm thrilled that there were so many people there that the wait was that long in the first place. I am a NCC member (no I am not rich...not even close); they didn't even have normal sizes in a lot of things. ->football players don't wear mediums or size 10 shoes apparently. I would also say it was picked over within 5 to 10 minutes. Some people definately knew what they wanted and went straight to the helmits etc. The line to check out was kind of rediculous actually.
First time to the rummage sale. I enjoyed it. I got lucky and found an XXL track suit instead of XXXL. | | |

Anyone know if the athletes still get first pick of what is offered for sale? I believe that was the process when the event first started. In the early days people complained that the best bags and apparel was gone before the public was offered a chance to buy. I'm not complaining if this is still the way it is run as the guys putting in the time deserve any perks allowed by the rules. I know that they get most of what they need issued to them, but they might want additional for friends/family.

I have a #6 home jersey size medium. Looking to trade for a large with a back or WR number. Anyone intersted. I also picked up the #1 away jersey...hopefully I can get Blythe to sign it sometime and no, it is not for sale.

No offense but you might have well bought a plain Jane jersey off the shelf. The elastic arms and long fit make it unique. You're supposed to tuck it in. I already had 3 game worn jerseys, and got another one due to some of the sweet NCAA and Nike emboidered patches on the front.
I bought a Jersey at a rummage sale my frosh/soph year at ISU,(10 years ago) and cut it down to shorten the length. I really wish i wouldnt have done it.
Im not judging, im just saying i did it and regret it.

A few years back when I was at ISU they had the sale over in state Gym, I was able to snag a JJ Moses away jersey and a James Reed home jersey. My roommate found a home and away for Dustin Avey from his frosh year (#80?)

please dont cut up a jersey, the elastic arm bands are way cooler. By the way, ISU can only "give" the players so much of this stuff. that is why so much is left. If noone noticed there were a few players there picking stuff up.

You really think isu pays more than 250 a helmet for those revolutions or the schutts? because thats about what they cost a normal consumer. Trust me, ISU has a deal with Riddell and Schutt
