Re: Rubbing it in...

Nothing wrong with a little teasing.

"Hey, where's Iowa going bowling?"

"Yeah, well neither is ISU!"

"Uh huh, remember how the Iowa-ISU game is our bowl game?"

"Congrats then, ya'll finally won a bowl game!"

Now, common, for anybody who actually takes a little ribbing seriously, lighten up. Being a fan of a different team and catching some flack isn't like racism, although some people treat it like it is. "Oh no, I was at this one place, and all these people pointed and laughed at me because of my shirt color."

No.

ISU Student - Iowa fan. Best of both worlds.

No.

I had to laugh... the one time I've been to Iowa City in the last couple of years I just happened to be wearing a black shirt (had nothing to do with Iowa, just happened to be what I was wearing that day), and I was the victim of a drive-by harassing. Couple of ISU fans drove by and yelled something anti-Iowa at me... probally confused they when I yelled in agreement (took me a minute to remember I wasn't wearing Cyclone gear and I wasn't in Cyclone country)

I still think it's funny that the one person they harassed in Iowa City was actually a Cyclone fan Oh well A for effort right?

Oh we will fight, fight, fight for Iowa State, and may her colors ever fly!

Actually a while back I was in Iowa City/Coralville wearing my ISU shirt the day after the UNI loss in football and no one said a word to me. I was pretty impressed that no one ribbed me.

Hey i was thinking. If the hawks would get one point for every arrest of there football players they would have been close in the cy-hawk series.

But my entire identity and self-esteem are tied to whether the Cyclones have successful athletics programs.

Oh...more sport-specific bashing...whooohooooo!

I'll take a guy that likes soccer over a fan (of any team mind you) fulfilling his obsession by going out of his way to rip on his in-state rival in the same year his own team stunk up the field, including a loss to an in-state FCS team.

But that's just me.

oh i got the humor, believe me i did. i think it makes you and the isu fan base look like idiots when you make fun of their dismal season when technically it was better than ours. that right there tells me you are about 11 or 12. not to mention you cant spell avatar right, dont blame it on a typo

Define irony...

Man has grammar issues in his own post while ripping on another man for a spelling error.
