The last thing I want to do is come home smelling like stale smoke and have to shower before I go to bed. And then put all my clothes in the wash cause they stink too.
I will gladly more pay for a drink in a nice smoke-free place. The only problem with smoke-free bars is that you smell all the rest of the stuff. Sometimes smoke is the least of your concerns  Of course it depends on what sort of bars you frequent, I suppose. | | |

Also if I am going to an event at Wells Fargo Arena I always hit Sambetti's or Gino's north of downtown. They are similar to Gerry's b/c the clientele is suspect but the food is always great and the drinks flow fairly free.

I was attending my girl friends Christmas party at some really fancy resturaunt down town that was right across the street from that place. I just sat there and watched drag queens pile into that place. It was pretty entertaining since the food was terrible.
