Well it's starting rain here in Ames. It is quickly glazing everything in ice. It's 24F. Not good. It is supposed to transition over to sleet/snow fairly soon and we could end up with 3-7" of sleet/snow on top of a glazing of ice. Should be fun in the morning on the bus.  |

How do the buses handle in the snow/ice? My dad works for cyride but I think he's mainly in the mini-buses.

This sucks, schools are all closed, but of course my office is open...
Why do schools get out so easy now? When I was a kid, you had to have a really really bad storm to get cancelled.
