For those who have yet to see Sage..

Here is some highlights of what he did against Tampa Bay

NFL Video Galleries

Also here is a couple clips of Hobbs when he returned the kick off for a TD (earlier in the year) and when he returned a fumble for a TD (3-4 weeks ago i believe..)

I am bored and figured i would start tryin to find some highlights of former cyclones...

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."

Unfortunately the NFL removed the youtube clip from this preseason where Dobbins laid a monster hit on Aaron Rodgers. That was a beauty.

TRUE AND VALIANT

Re: For those that have yet to see Sage..

On NFL Network on Demand you can watch a 10 minute recap of the games. It basically shows just the scoring drives. It's great when you don't get to see a game. I'll have to check out the Houston game when they put it out later this week.

Re: For those that have yet to see Sage..

Also here is a quick look at some stats comparing Shaub and Sage

In 11 games
Matt has thrown 192/289 for 2241yrds 9tds 9ints QB rating of 87.2 sacked 16times and has had 7 fumbles and lost 3

In 6 games
Sage has thrown 105/159 for 1123yrds 11tds 7ints QB rating of 91.3 sacked 5 times and has 4 fumbles and 3 lost
(4 of those ints came in the Ten. game when sage was put in and houston was down 31-7 and came back only to lose 38-36)

So why does Matt still start??

Re: For those that have yet to see Sage..

Many, many Texan's fans believe Sage should be the starting QB...even when Matt returns from his injury which will probably be next year...

Because those numbers don't look too dissimilar to me. I don't think there's really anything there that suggests Sage should be starting over Schaub. Sage is doing exactly what you want a backup QB to do: managing the game and keeping his team in it even without their starter. Seneca was pretty good at that in Seattle when Hasselbeck got hurt last year.

Schaub is playing pretty well for a first year starter. Houston made a big investment in him, and they're not going to give up on him just because his backup is playing well.
