I turned it off after it was 42-0. I guess a 42-13 final was not too unexpected.
One thing I did find odd was UNLV failed to convert four fourth-down attempts in the first half... In the FIRST HALF.
Nothing says "we have really bad special teams" than going for 4th and whatever 4 times in the first half of one ball game.
Hawaii had 583 yards of offense... 350+ in the first half.
UNLV punted on 2nd down 3 times, used a multiple kicker formation on extra point attempts, and refused to leave the field after the game - believing they had actually won (and blue unicorns had told them so)... or something.
Okay I made the last bit up, but Hawaii really did smack them, and Rocky Hinds' "supposed" ACL-life-threatening injury did not prevent him from playing... or starting.
What is our Sagarin nation rating? Yipes. Still hoping for better than Shreveport. UNLV and Toledo and Iowa both laid some eggs in pre and post Clone games.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style.
