The forecast for ISU@Texas 95 degrees and strong storms. How do you guys and gals think the weather will impact the game?

What about the heat, to go from what mid 70's to mid 90's may affect our guys.

Where would that be... certainly not Ames... and CERTAINLY not Austin, Texas! Right now, at midnight, the humidty there is 74% with a dewpoint of 74F. Believe me, that is humid! Both teams deal with humidity, but Texas deals with it all year long, with much stronger humidity.
Texas has the advantage.

Texas has the advantage. Thanks for the info! I guess I've only been there during dry spells (and, admittedly, don't pay nearly as much attention to the weather nationwide as I should).

We'll be fine since we're the northern-most team in the Big12 (muscle cramps are inevitable). We're supposed to be able to handle the bad weather. Besides...we're the 'Cyclones'!

Re: Bad weather for Texas game?
i would think that if anything, the rain would hurt us a lot because we wouldn't be able to throw or catch... probably more turnovers on both sides of the ball..
either way, i don't care about the weather at this point, i just want us to play well and come out with no injuries..
go cyclones!!
