We are looking for a combo big man at 6-10 who moves his feet like Ross Marsden, has lightness on his feet like Jiri, has Gray's aggressiveness around the bucket, and has the shooting touch of Tags. Our only problem last year was it took 4 big players to fit this description and we could never get them on the floor at the same time.
Would anyone have take a Damon Staples over any of the four? Just looking for your armchasir quarterback analyis for the summer.

For some reason Bryce always gets the names of the players incorrect. I think it's a joke or something.
He refers to Jessen Gray as "Devan"

I think we should get a power forward...anywhere from 6'7 to 6'9. Damion Staple was not that good..Get someone the size of a Greg Brunner, Reggie Evans, Marcus Fizer. Who is strong and can play defense.

Easy answer, 30 points per game, 20 rebounds per game, 4 blocked shot per game, no turnovers, 8 assists per game and maybe 2 fouls per game. Should be an easy get. ;D

The way it looks we will have 4 scholarships available for next fall's class. I'd like to see G-Mac do the following:
1) JUCO Post- We need a brute in the post. Since most freshman post players aren't ready to compete right off, I'd go the JUCO route. We need a 6'8"+ & 240lb guy since I'm not sure Hubalek, Marsden or Thompson will ever be physical players like Homan.
2) HS or Prep School Post. We need a prospect to be ready by the time Hubalek graduates. This kid needs to be a HS stud that can play 10-15mpg as a frosh and be ready to start as a soph.
3) A HS PG. We'll need a guy to replace McIntosh. Again he can come in and back-up McIntosh as a frosh and hopefully will step into the starting role as a soph.
4) A HS Wing. We need a great 3 point shooter. The ideal would be a 6'5" kid who could play both WG & SF. If the Johnsons(Cory & Wesley) project as WF's then G-Mac could go after a kid that is more of a combo guard. This scholarship needs to be used on a Jake Sullivan type shooter.

Don't forget he needs to be a 4.0 student that's planning to stay 4 years.

As for Homan, word is that his team is in the Greek league final 4. He will be back in Ames after that for a couple weeks and then is going to Cali to workout with Jackson and try getting into some camps this year in the NBA.

How about a big hindy, 40 inch vertical, major bear paws, confidence, wing span, weight, speed, stamina? Did I miss something?
