Are you worried?
After reading some things and talking with some fellow Cyclones, I get the feeling that some are nervous about this game...
Maybe I should be but I really feel we will easily roll in this game. I haven't even given it an ounce of thought that we may lose. Hell, in our 2-10 season we beat UNI and we were T-E-R-R-I-B-L-E.
Should I be worried? And I don't want to hear coach-speak ie. "UNI is a great team and we will be lucky to get a win"...blah. I hate that.

Re: Are you worried?
I think anything less than a two touchdown victory would be a shame. UNI made a miracle run to the finals last year after barely making it into the playoffs. I think every game of the playoffs they were down and came back in the 4th quarter or overtime. They have a great coach, but I think they lost a lot of talent from last year. I think fans should expect a solid win this weekend.

Re: Are you worried?
This has always been a W in my predictions, no second thoughts. Mac said it himself. "We need to win and look good doing it." If not, its hard to imagine we will have a 13th game this year.

Re: Are you worried?
I worry about every game, no matter who we play. Last year showed me that we can lose to some bad teams, even when we have a pretty damn good team. The way we've played so far this year, I don't feel safe against ANY opponent, including UNI. All it takes is a crap-*** game by us, and a mistake free game by UNI, and we're in trouble.

Re: Are you worried?
Cyclones are going to roll. They're coming back home after two tough road games to one of the largest crowds in ISU history. I think (hope) Mac is getting them revved up for the rest of the conference season and wants them to head in with some bigtime momentum.
Plus, I'm meeting up with a few buddies from our ISU days so it should be a good weekend.

Re: Are you worried?
Having been at The Jack while watching UNI beat us, I always worry a little. That said, this team knows it needs to make a statement after the last two weeks, the stadium will be rockin and I expect our coaches and players to open this game up. UNI may be a ranked 1AA squad, but they are coming to our house and with our newcomers getting settled in and Hicks starting to look like the Hicks of two years ago, I expect us to win soundly. Will it be a 52-3 blow out? Probably not, but 38-10 or 42-14 are what I expect. So say it with me "Let's Go Clones!!"

Perfect timing for this game. We'll get on track and gain some confidence for the next few weeks!

Re: Are you worried?
This year's team may not be as good as last year's, but we are no longer the team we were in the early 90's. We had coaches that only recruited the players Iowa recruited, and we lost out to them. Those coaches over-looked a lot of really talented players from our state that then went to UNI. They don't have the same level of talent as we do now. ISU has a lot of talent, not only from the state of Iowa, but from Flordia and Texas. Clones roll on Saturday night.

Re: Are you worried?
I will not predict a score, becuase I thought we would blow UNLV out of the water. But if ISU does not win this game, you will see me running out of the student section nude and screaming, since I promiced some people that if ISU lost I would be doing this.

For the sake of the children, please oh please Cyclones, win big.
